Decomposers like worms, mushrooms, and even bacteria provide the key function of recycling for our ecosystem communities. Learn about the critical role decomposers play in our environmental food chain and how, without them, producers and consumers, the other two links in the chain, would not be able to survive. Let’s get our hands in the dirt and learn all we can about this overlooked group of organisms!
