Learn all about the importance of biodiversity in a garden! Discover how to notice biodiversity around you and take notes of it in your very own field journal as you are led by a Myriad horticulturist through the Children’s Garden.
Bring your little one to learn about the life cycle of a tulip with a story book, lesson and craft.
Join us to learn the ins and outs of vermicomposting and explore how worms help create soil. Each participant will make and take home their very own worm compost bin, worms included.
Join us to learn all about seeds and germination. Each participant will get to see inside a seed, explore the process of germination, and will get to take home their own basil seeds to sprout at home.
Join us to kick off Earth Day celebrations by learning about an amazing process known as upcycling. Each participant will learn about upcycling and will get to create their very own egg carton creature.
Celebrate Earth Day in the Children’s Garden! Enjoy making wildflower seed balls and learn about recycling.
Join us for a fanciful fairy tea party. Guests will make fairy wands and flower crowns as we enjoy muffins and fairy juice.
Use the garden as inspiration for your work of art. Stop by the Children’s Garden porch to get a tray of art materials and then find a cozy spot in the garden to let your creativity flow.
Lettuce, tomatoes, basil oh my! Create your very own seed starting greenhouse to take home and grow salad greens.
Flutter on over to the Children’s Garden to create your very own hummingbird sun catcher. We will go on a garden hike to find plants that hummingbirds love.
Want to learn a new hobby? Come join us for our first kids summer series: craft edition! One Saturday a month will be dedicated to crafting with a botanical theme. The first will be learning how to create glow-in-the-dark daisy friendship bracelets.
