Thomas Martinez

Thomas Martinez was born in Oklahoma City, OK, and he began making art when he was very young. Thomas mostly paints with acrylics, but he also uses ink, pencil, and watercolor to try out new ideas. Thomas can often be found painting outside or exploring with his sketchbook journal in hand, making notes and sketches of the places he visits. Sometimes the sketch becomes a study for a bigger painting that captures the essence and spontaneity of a world that is always changing. He has been seen en plein in the Gardens several times.

William Lentz

From a young age, William Lentz couldn’t get enough of making things. Drawing and painting grew out of this creative spirit. One day, he was drawn to a simple watercolor painting in a neighborhood restaurant. From then on, he went on a trip to learn how to paint with watercolors. “Watercolors, to me, capture the mood and feelings of things, scenery, and people in a way that can’t be done in any other medium.
