MLK Jr. Day
- January 20, 10am-1pm, Crystal Bridge Lobby
- Join us as we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
- Look (10am-11am) – View the latest art exhibit, Fantasies, Forms & Florals – A Look Into Wonder and Abstraction, and meet the artists, Debra Martin and Jaiye Farrell. Live music from Sarafina Byrd.
- Listen (11am-12pm) – Hear performances from the Society of Urban Poets and the OK Collegiate Gospel Choir, and a recitation of MLK’s “I Have a Dream” speech.
- Learn (12pm-1pm) – Join artist, Debra Martin, for an art lesson and activity entitled Myths & Folklore in Black History
- We’ll also be joined by Blackxican Soul Food Truck and the Black Student Association of UCO.
- FREE admission to the Crystal Bridge Conservatory.
