Learn how to create your own floral arrangement using seasonal flowers and foliage collected from the garden grounds. We’ll begin with a basic introduction on floral design, go over the already collected materials available, and then head outside to collect a few items together. We’ll end the class by creating our arrangements to take home, as well as discussing tips for foraging in your own yard and ways to prolong the life of your arrangements.

Capture vibrant photos of our garden landscapes, flowers, insects, and birds as you traverse our grounds during our pivotal Spring event: Tulip Fest! Join Doug Hoke in learning the basics of botanical photography as you capture the beauty of Spring and all of its colors and shapes. With tens of thousands of tulips, daffodils, and other spring bulbs to capture, you will receive real-time guidance and feedback from a professional, award-winning photographer. Class will begin in our classroom before we proceed out onto the grounds. Please bring your own camera.
Join us in not only learning the ins and outs of this fun twist on the garden but put together your own salad bowl garden on site to take home and cut from to make your own salads again and again.
Join Saika JP Flower in this workshop where we will learn the basics of floral arranging through the creation of a beautiful, seasonal arrangement reflecting the aesthetic and culture of Japanese florals. Take away tips and tricks for successful arranging and how to keep your arrangements long-lasting. Glass vases are provided; decorative vases are available for an additional cost.

Suzie Loveless, Handmade with Loveless

Welcome Spring in Style: Join Suzie Loveless of Handmade with Love(less) in creating your own unique pair of beaded earrings featuring spring botanicals. Suzie will walk us through the steps it takes to create a gorgeous set of botanically-inspired earrings in the color scheme of your choice. This class is suitable for beginners to more advanced crafters. Age 14+. All supplies included.
This class covers everything you need to know about growing your own fruits, herbs, and vegetables in the Spring and Summer. Dale and Carrie Spoonemore will share how they grow food for their family of 7 in their Oklahoma City yard. They will focus on transplanting cool season crops and planting summer crops. They will cover beginner topics such as how to get started, what to grow in, what to do with your soil, plus how to grow the 100+ plants in their highly rated gardening app. Class participants will learn about organic growing methods including pest management without the use of pesticides.
Expand your knowledge of Oklahoma plants and find inspiration for your own garden with an educational walking tour, led by one of our knowledgeable horticultural staff. Wheelchair and stroller friendly.

Join Jeff Chambless of MoonGlow Maven in embracing intentionality and crafting your own botanically-inspired, hand-poured candle. With all natural ingredients and botanicals, each candle is guaranteed through the expertise and guidance of your instructor. Each participant will leave with one 8oz candle, and guests are welcome to bring their own botanicals or crystals for an extra-personal touch if so desired.
