“The class was great! It’s so nice seeing people teach and guide with passion! Had a blast and learned so much!”
“So good! Totally a good value! I have enjoyed attending the Myriad Gardens classes. They are such fun, social classes to have with others interested in the same topic. The instructors are knowledgeable and so easy to talk with. They take all our questions and help me feel confident to try my hand at this new concept.” -Heather
“10/10 would recommend! More residents need to know how easy it can be.” -Katy

This class is SOLD OUT! Sorry we missed you. Get a list of our classes through September here.
Indulge your artist’s heart with Brooke Hutchens of Redbud Pigment Co. as she guides us through a botanically inspired watercolor piece using handmade pigments that are locally foraged and sustainably sourced. Each guest will create their own work of art and leave with a palette of six colors (known as a dot card) for further creative endeavors well after the class has ended.
Learn how to turn paper and cement into sturdy, unique planters suitable for the Oklahoma elements. We will discuss papercrete, its process, and how to use it to design and create planters. You will leave with a self-made piece and instructions on weathering and finishing it. All supplies are included.
Take a piece of the Inasmuch Foundation Crystal Bridge Conservatory home with you by potting up your own houseplant in a container of your choice, lovingly crafted by Shelly Goodmanson of Serendipity Pottery. Both plants and pots will be available for purchase on-site. Select plants will be highlighted, from tropical foliage plants to succulents on our desert side.
While Spring awakens the urge to garden, Fall is one of the best seasons for it in Oklahoma. As temperatures start to lower and the daylight starts to fade, Fall is an excellent time to start a garden and have ample harvest by frost. Here are a few tips to possibly extend your season even further: Join Dale and Carrie Spoonemore as they discuss everything from concept to harvest as we plan our own Fall gardens for the spaces we have.

Join Saika JP Flower in this workshop, where we will learn the basics of floral arranging by creating a beautiful, seasonal arrangement reflecting the aesthetic and culture of Japanese florals. Take away tips and tricks for successful arranging and keeping your arrangements long-lasting. Glass vases are provided; decorative vases are available for an additional cost.
Cyanotype is an old printing process popularized for blueprints and has since become a way to create unique art through science. Learn all about the process and the chemistry behind cyanotype before we go out into the Gardens and collect botanical inspiration for our pieces. We will create our own individual artwork on archival paper that can then be taken home, washed, and display-ready within 24 hours.
Native plants represent the rich biodiversity of our plains and cross-timber regions of Oklahoma. They support our local pollinators, provide shelter for countless species, improve our air quality, and more are just some of the reasons to plant them. They require less water and less fertilizer and grow optimally in our unique Oklahoma climate. Join us as we discuss strategies for introducing natives into our gardens, highlighting particularly outstanding ones to match our circumstances, and more. Guests will leave with a native perennial to get them started.
Come learn about the fascinating world of carnivorous plants, a group that boasts almost 700 species, from where and how they grow in the wild to how we can successfully raise them in our homes. Guests will be guided through planting and personalizing their own carnivorous terrariums perfect for their new little plants. Learn about soil, water, and the long-term strategies for keeping these little biomes strong for years to come!
