Myriad in Motion: Zumba

Join us every first and third Thursday of the month for a FREE Zumba class with the Downtown YMCA. This fun, high energy workout is sure to get your blood pumping!

Yakini Wilson is a certified Zumba instructor with over 10 years of experience.  Yakini has taught multiple disciplines in the fitness world, which includes Piloxing, Zumba, Zumba Strong, Step Aerobics, and HIIT/Circuit training. In addition to her fitness experience, Yakini has taught multiple genres of dance to the youth (Liturgical Dance, Ballet, Jazz, and African) at churches and through non-profit organizations. Yakini enjoys cycling, watching sports, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Her goal is to customize exercises to obtain a full body workout and ensure all participants have fun at the same time.
