Dancing in the Gardens on Friday, June 16, brought the MTV Hits theme to life! Everyone danced to the beat of hit pop music from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s with DJ Brian Smith from MuttRadio.com. RACE Dance Collective’s instructors taught the crowd how to move to Beyonce’s Single Ladies and Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance. The night was filled with non-stop dancing as friends and families boogied their hearts out. It was truly a night to remember! Plus, did we mention that it’s free? And, to make things even better, there was face painting by LOL Cartoons, and food trucks too.

Friday, on May 5th, we had an incredible first Full Moon Bike Ride. Even with downtown being packed with a nearly sold-out concert at Paycom Center and Cinco de Mayo at Scissortail Park, over 100 riders still joined us for the 5.5-mile ride led by the amazing Steve Schlegel. A huge thank you to all the riders who made this first ride a success!

Pumpkinville, presented by OG&E, is Myriad Botanical Gardens largest annual festival and a beloved fall tradition for thousands of families. This year’s theme “Witches and Wizards” was brought to life by the Myriad Gardens team’s creative use of more than 30,000 pumpkins and gourds, Oct. 7-23, 2022. The Children’s Garden was transformed into a magical space with imaginative displays and interactive elements at every turn. Myriad Gardens is honored to create spaces for families to have fun, enjoy the outdoors, and create core memories. Many thanks to our 472 volunteers, 751 new members, and nearly 32,000 individual visitors who helped us have a record-breaking year – together we raised more than $300,000! These funds help the Gardens provide beautiful spaces and affordable programming to the public throughout the year.
