Tulip Festival Is Back!

Each spring, a vibrant wave of color sweeps across downtown Oklahoma City as more than 60,000 tulips burst into bloom at Myriad Botanical Gardens. Now in its fourth year, the beloved Tulip Festival grows even bigger, expanding to a full week from March 28 through April 5, giving guests more time to experience one of the city’s most anticipated seasonal traditions.

Just a couple of blocks away, another 40,000 tulips blossom at our sister organization, Scissortail Park, creating an extraordinary floral display that stretches across downtown. Together, the parks showcase nearly 100,000 tulips in a dazzling spectrum of spring color.

Tulip Festival is made possible through the generous support of Devon Energy, E.L. & Thelma Gaylord Foundation, Jil and Tony Boghetich, Renewal by Andersen, Tinker Federal Credit Union, Arts Council Arts Move, Walker Companies, and Midtown Renaissance.

Full-Week Experiences: Tulips, Art & Dutch Heritage

Throughout the entire run of the festival, guests can enjoy immersive experiences both outdoors and inside the iconic Inasmuch Foundation Crystal Bridge Conservatory.

The Journey of the Tulip

Making its debut this year, this educational exhibit from The Netherlands traces the flower’s remarkable story across four engaging chapters:

Tulip Botanics and Cultivation
Ancient Origins
The Rise of Tulip Culture
Arrival in the Netherlands

Installed in the southeast section of the Gardens and inside the Crystal Bridge, the exhibit invites visitors to explore how a simple bulb traveled from Central Asia to Europe, where it sparked global fascination and even economic frenzy.

Weekend Festivities in Bloom

While tulips and exhibits can be enjoyed all week long, Saturdays and Sundays from 9AM to 6PM bring additional energy to Tulip Festival. Guests can browse an expansive vendor market, enjoy live music performances, and sample offerings from a rotating lineup of local food trucks.

Curbside Flowers will also be on-site each weekend, selling fresh-cut tulips and exclusive Tulip Festival merchandise, giving visitors the opportunity to take a piece of the celebration home.

Midweek Moments Among the Tulips

Tulip Tuesday

Tuesday, March 31 | 11AM – 1PM

Sheridan Lawn

On Tuesday, March 31, downtown employees and visitors are invited to enjoy Tulip Tuesday and enjoy lunch among the tulips from 11am to 1pm. Food trucks will line Sheridan Avenue, and picnic tables will be arranged across the Sheridan Lawn, offering a refreshing outdoor lunch break surrounded by spring color.

Holland Happy Hour

Thursday, April 2 | 5:30-8PM

Inasmuch Foundation Crystal Bridge Conservatory

Celebrate spring in style during Holland Happy Hour at Myriad Botanical Gardens on Thursday, April 2, from 5:30 to 8PM.

As part of Tulip Festival week, this delightful evening invites guests to unwind among thousands of colorful blooms and experience the beauty of the Inasmuch Foundation Crystal Bridge Conservatory after hours.

Your ticket includes admission to the Crystal Bridge and your choice of beer, wine, or a signature cocktail inspired by the festival’s Dutch theme. Enjoy our Tulip Mania art exhibit in the Visitor Lobby, stroll through the conservatory, take photos by the windmill display, and admire the vibrant tulip displays throughout the Gardens as the sun sets over downtown.

Tickets are $25, or $20 for Myriad Gardens members. Bring friends, sip something refreshing, and toast to spring during this relaxed evening celebration in the heart of the city.
